Workholding Sales Engineer
Sales Engineer
Our client is a European manufacturer of Workholding systems for the Machine Tool industry has experienced tremendous growth over the past 5 years, this has created a need to identify and add 2 more Sales Engineers in the Midwest and East coast regions. The Sales Engineer will work directly with Machine Tool OEM’s, distributor’s and end users to support and leverage increased ROI’s on their products and processes. The role requires the ability to communicate detailed technical, engineering, and product information to all levels inside a customer organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in identifying customer applications with Workholding devices and programs that present opportunities for their customers.
• Proposing solutions to these customers and leverages resources from Application team to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and present customer quotes for specialty components.
• Follow-up on prototype or product design and application issues with customer.
• Communicate and keep customer awareness of process and final delivery.
• Provide technical service and training to customers and representatives relating to component’s use, operation and maintenance.
Skills Required:
• Technical knowledge of Workholding devices and systems associated to the CNC Machining Industry.
• A passion for the business and an aptitude of creativity along with customer service
• Ability to travel overnight as needed. Most of our Sales Engineers see around 25% in their given territories.
• Driver’s License and current passport for European training and related oversees trade shows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or technology discipline or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
